Fall Essentials 2015

Posted on Sep 2, 2015

Fall is my favorite season as far as fashion goes. I love layering and styling basic pieces in unique ways when paired together. I am seriously dying waiting for the weather to cool off so I can wear all of my fall clothes! Down below are some of my must-have essentials for fall.

Untitled #639

Knee high socks: I will probably always adore knee high socks. They look amazing peaking out of boots or worn with dresses and/or skirts to make an outfit more appropriate for fall.

Thigh high boots: Thigh highs were a trend last A/W and are definitely returning. Similar to the knee high socks, they look really nice styled with a dress and instantly take an outfit to another level.

Baseball cap: I think you either love them or you hate them, but I have suddenly fallen in love with baseball caps. They add such a cool, effortless vibe to any outfit and are perfect to be worn with "messy" hair peaking out.

Beanie: Beanies are a given fall staple. Not only do they keep your head warm, but they look adorable with pretty much any fall outfit.

Satchel: Because fall is back to school season, a satchel or satchel-like bag fits in kind of perfectly. During the fall, you're wearing lots of loose and baggy clothing which gets balanced out by the structure of the bag too.

Watch: For the same reason as the satchel, a watch adds a certain structure and professionalism to outfits that helps balance the bagginess of it.

Button-up skirt: I have been seeing button-up skirts (especially suede ones) everywhere. They're an obvious trend this season and a must have for fall.

Cozy sweater: Oversized and cozy sweaters are not a surprise essential by any means. They're extremely comfy and easy to style in many different ways.

Burgundy lip color + nail polish: Bring out the burgundy because fall is here. Dark lip and nail colors just seem to pair well with the fall season for some reason. They also add a lot of attitude and personality to any outfit.
