Where It All Began
My love for fashion all started when I was nine years old. Before then, it was probably the last thing on my mind. I was a total tomboy, unconcerned with every and all thing girly. That all changed one day in a JCPenny dressing room, Taylor Swift playing through the speakers. My dad had taken me shopping for summer clothing that particular day. I had found a pair of denim shorts that had the pockets sticking out at the bottom along with an airy, shoulders cut out top with this crazy bright red and orange paisley inspired print. Although now, cringing at the very thought of that outfit, it was literally and absolutely life changing for me at the time. It occurred to me, while dancing around in the dressing room, that you cannot change your physical features, but you can change your clothes in any way that can make you feel incredibly confident and beautiful. And that, is when my overwhelming love for fashion began.

I started a personal style blog on Tumblr at the age of twelve. My posts were pretty terrible back then. However, I grew and learned more. I developed a decent understanding of HTML coding and with that, I created The Thread Collision. I hope that one day blogging will become a full time career for me, alongside being a Youtube creator.
