Coven Attire

As I was putting together this outfit, it reminded me of one of my favorite shows, American Horror Story. In it's third season, Coven, the witches wore a lot of dark, over sized clothing and this outfit brought a lot of the fashion from the show to it unplanned. I've been loving this Alena dress from Brandy and the combination of the hat and chunky heels makes this outfit very AHS: Coven inspired. I don't recommend wearing spandex under this dress, however, as it shows pretty obviously as you can see in the second photo- haha oops.

My Everyday Makeup Routine

Posted on Jul 28, 2014

I've gotten a few questions on what I do for my everyday makeup, so I thought I'd explain what products I use and how I use them on a daily basis if I decide to wear makeup.

Beauty Blender - Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - Real Techniques Blush Brush-
-Elf Foundation Brush - Makeup Forever Full Cover Concealer - Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation- NYX Cream Blush (Natural) - NYX Matte Bronzer (Medium) - Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (Transparent)- Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner (Brown) - Maybelline Flasies Mascara (Black, Waterproof) - Rimmel Eyebrow Penicl (Hazel) - Carmex Lip Balm - Ulta Lipstick (Perfect Nude) -

After moisturizing my face, I start off with my concealer and put that on any blemishes and under my eyes, blending it out with my fingers. Next I put on my foundation followed by my cream blush, applying both with a Beauty Blender. I powder my face, then put on some bronzer on my hairline and jawline with either the Expert Face Brush or the Blush Brush depending on how precise I want to be. Moving onto eyes, I start off by filling in my brows with light, feathery strokes, blending as I end. Then I line my tight line with eyeliner, finishing off with two coats of mascara on my top and bottom lashes. To finish my look, I put on some lip balm and some lipstick.

I wanted to make this post to apologize for not being active on this blog for several months. I took a very long break on my entire social networking platform due to always being busy and having to deal with the end of school. Over the past weeks, I've been very active on my Tumblr because I can keep it active without the need for original content which this blog needs. It's extremely difficult for me to have high quality photos in a good location. I am back to blogging, however, and have big plans for the future. I will be trying to post a few times a week on my Blogger from now on. I really want to update frequently in order to grow this blog and to produce new content for my lovely readers. I love you all so much and have a wonderful week!
